Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year! 
In this activity, students get a sneak peek at early Black Friday deals to calculate savings (decimals & percent discounts) and decide whether the sales are really worth the wait. Younger students can work with rounded prices and estimation to reason about percentages, while older students can dig deeper into exact calculations (see teaching tips). Lastly, students have the chance to go on a deal hunt, exploring real Black Friday ads to calculate savings and spot the best deals.
